Corrie Ten Boom on the Love of Christ

January 9, 2013

Corrie Ten Boom spoke in a 1974 interview about how Romans 8 and 5:5 helped her replace the hate in her heart for the Nazis with God’s love. She knew that God had every hair on her head numbered and that he had a “telescope within a microscope” and that she realized that even when she did not know how to pray, in Romans 8 it taught that the Holy Spirit Himself would teach us. The people in the concentration camps were under the power of the Devil by what they said and did and yet the light of Christ was stronger than the deepest darkness.

and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
